My name is Lupe Acevedo and I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I work with adults for both short-term and open-ended therapy and use a range of modern approaches depending on your needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The most important thing to me is providing an open and non-judgemental space where you can feel free to explore whatever you need. My approach is warm and collaborative and I am experienced in working with people who have a wide range of problems, including issues relating to trauma, anxiety,
depression, self-esteem, stress, family issues, relationship problems, work-related issues and life transitions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once you get in touch with me, we can arrange for an initial consultation, either face-to-face or online. This is a chance for us to get to know each other and to help you decide if I am the right therapist for you. We can discuss your reasons for coming, and how we might work together, as well as address any queries you may have.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      • I am a fully-qualified trauma-informed integrative therapist<\/li>
      • I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I adhere to their strict ethical and professional codes and I fulfil their requirements for ongoing supervision and continued professional development<\/li>
      • I hold a diploma in integrative counselling from the Counselling and Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body (CPCAB), the UK’s leading awarding body specialised in counselling.<\/li>
      • In addition to my private practice I work as a therapist for STARS Dorset and Petals<\/li>
      • I continue developing my knowledge and skills in a number of cognitive and holistic areas<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
